Kristina Conner, ND, MSOM, LAc is Dean of the School of Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University.
After completing her ND residency, Dr. Conner started her private practice in Indiana, when there were only a few NDs in the state. Subsequently, Dr. Conner became increasingly involved in advocacy for the naturopathic profession. She has served in several professional roles on the national and state level, including president of the Illinois Association of Naturopathic Physicians (ILANP).
After completing her residency at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Conner continued at UBCNM in a clinical teaching and administrative role. Upon relocating to the Midwest, Dr. Conner learned about the new ND program starting at the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois, and became one of the founding faculty of the program in 2006, teaching there until 2021 in the Clinical Sciences Department, including three years as the Dean of the School of Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. Conner believes that health is foundational to fulfillment and happiness, and that balance in the mind, body, and spirit is fundamental to well-being. There is a time and place for every form of medicine, and with proper education and guidance, each person can decide what is right for their health. She thinks there is a role for natural medicine to assist every person in their journey to create and maintain wellness.
