New Chief Medical Officer Appointed in San Diego

San Diego, CA – Bastyr University is pleased to announce the appointment of Ryan McNally, ND, MS, PA-c as the Chief Medical Officer for Bastyr University Clinic in San Diego.
"Dr. McNally has been part of our University for three years and we’re thrilled to welcome him as our new Chief Medical Officer,” said University President Mac Powell. "Dr. McNally brings valuable experience, having worked in traditional and integrative medical settings, to lead us in expanding our partnerships in the community as well as growing our clinic services.
Dr. McNally joined the University in October 2014, serving as a faculty supervisor at Bastyr University Clinic and a core faculty member in the School of Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University California. Before coming to Bastyr, he was a primary care provider at Alice Internal Medicine in Alice, Texas. Dr. McNally has worked as a primary care doctor in a variety of settings and completed an integrative medicine residency in the Yale University-Griffin-University of Bridgeport Residency Program.
His clinical interests include primary care medicine with a special interest in mental health disorders, cardiovascular disease, digestive disorders, diabetes, obesity, and skin disease. He uses nutritional and herbal medicine, exercise and lifestyle prescriptions, pharmaceutical therapy, minor surgery, and injection therapy while focusing on the underlying causes of disease.
Dr. McNally holds a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2008 and a Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Northeastern University in 2013.
