"I believe in the healing power of nature. Your body knows how to heal itself if it's provided with the right nutrients and is free from toxic, infectious, or other encumbrances. Naturopathic doctors search for the root cause of your illness. Once that cause is known, we address it with lifestyle changes, supplements, herbs, homeopathic remedies, or physical modalities. My mission in life is to help you reach YOUR health goals. My team of students and I are here to help you in whatever way we can, and if we deem that you need something we don't offer, we will do our best to find you someone who does. If you're at the end of your rope and you've "tried everything", you've found the right place. We at Bastyr are here to help."

For eighteen years (1994-2012), Dr. Case ran a holistic chiropractic practice in Monterey County, California. In 2007, he contributed a chapter to the book "101 Great Ways to Improve Your Health". In 2010, he published his own award-winning book, "Thugs, Drugs and the War on Bugs". He then retired from private practice and moved to Tennessee, where he had his own radio show and taught Anatomy and Physiology at Nashville State Community College. In 2013, he entered a 3-year Family Practice Residency at National University of Health Sciences in Chicago. While completing his residency, he acquired his ND degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian of his class. He then taught at NUHS—Florida for two years before coming to Bastyr University in 2019. Since being at Bastyr, he has co-authored two case studies that were published in the Townsend Letter. In his spare time, Dr. Case enjoys hiking, surfing, and hanging out with his wife, Maria and their two cats.
